Vilanova i la geltru

Finally we were headed to Vilanova, a bit exhausted with the heat and all visits. I booked our tickets when on sale and found them still pretty expensive, but at least they were inclusive of Cercanias in Madrid and also from Barcelona and up to Vilanova, which is very good. The train was the most new and luxurious and the ride was very relaxing. We had mesa again, but with a real table this time.

I have rented a big apartment with a nice gentleman from Holland. The apartment was well located, in a quiet street and with some views of the beach, which was right across the road about 50 meters further.

Vilanova market is in the heart of the old town but a bit far from the sea. It is open every morning and Friday afternoon until 8PM, and is spectacular, although a bit expensive.
Vilanova of my souvenirs didn't change much except for a new park added, still with lively Rambla, Plaza dela Vila. The Paseo Maritimo now has less bars and more international cuisine restaurants in addition to traditional ones. More fastfoods and cafes opened on la Rambla. They also have 2 roast chicken places there and even an Enrique Tomas Jam bar.

We found a Bonpreu on la Rambla, but there is also a new Condis Life much bigger and only 400-500m from the apartment. I had located the path under railway, and it was for walking and bikes and was pretty clean, so we weren't scared to take it for a bigger choice supermarket.

My potatoes with chorizo and onions.
I cooked chicken and it lokked and tasted awesome.

My ratatouille.
